SERVICE 05 · SUSPENSIONI set suspension up
for your weight.

A bike that crashes through potholes or floats over the highway is usually set up for somebody else. I rebuild forks and shocks, then set sag and damping for what you actually weigh and how you actually ride. Track setup if that is where the bike is going.

SUSPENSION

  • Fork rebuilds - new seals, fresh oil, full service.
  • Shock service - rebuilt and revalved where the shock allows it.
  • Sag and damping - set for your weight and your riding.
  • Track setup - dialled in for the circuit when you want it.

How it goes

01Tell me how it feels

Harsh, vague, diving under brakes. That tells me more than numbers do.

02I measure and set

Sag first, with you sitting on the bike, then the damping.

03You ride it

Come back and I adjust it again. That part costs nothing.

What sets the price

Setup is time on the bike. A rebuild adds seals and oil, or a new shock if the old one is finished. I check first and tell you which of the two it is.
